The wonder pore line is legendary for it’s effectiveness in helping dehydrated skin with large pores. Particularly in helping cleaning pores out and making roughened skin soft and supple.
I have two of these sample sets so this sample review is going to be a bit more in-depth. It also helps that my skin has started to react to the warmer temperatures we’ve been having lately, my skin has bumps, larger pores and a rougher texture than normal.
In this sample set there is four different products.
- Wonder Pore Deep Foaming Cleanser
- Wonder Pore Tightening Essence
- Wonder Pore Clearing Emulsion
- Wonder Pore Balancing Cream
Reading up on what the different products do I have to say that this seems like a comprehensive skin line since it’s products are meant to both treat and moisturize.
But how does this line hold up?
This cleanser claims to have ten benefits:
- Deep cleansing of pores.
- Sebum control.
- Skin tone improvement.
- Pore tightening.
- Improves pore elasticity.
- Improves PH-value.
- Smoothes skin.
- Cooling effect.
- Removes dead skin cells.
Of course since I only have two sample packets of this, it will be impossible for me to see how true these claims are since skin care products needs time to work their magic, but it can give an estimate of its effectiveness.
This face cleanser contains a mint and vinegar complex that is meant to cool and soothe your skin and it also contains blue beads that is intended to softly exfoliate your skin.
That’s one thing that I enjoyed about this cleanser, it does not contain as many abrasives as a lot of cleansers meant for rougher skin types often has which can sometimes become too much sometimes.
The formula does have a nice cooling effect and it did actually make my pores feel and look better than before, which did surprise me a bit since I did not expect that in two consecutive uses, another surprise was that my skin felt moisturized and soft aswell.
The scent is also very comfortable, very fresh and light.
I believe that this cleanser would show itself as even more effective if I bought the full size and I might just do that soon.
This essence is supposed to tighten pores, firm, giving a cooling sensation and help control sebum and keep it matte.
I like the scent of this, it differs from the cleanser in that it has a stronger lemon smell to it. It really feels comfortable when massaging this into my skin and its partly because of the texture.
Which is a thicker serum with a nice slip to it.
It dries down really fast and it leaves a matte surface while my skin feels incredibly supple and fresh. My pores seems to be freshened up but not smaller and that might very likely be because I’ve only tried two samples of it and that I may get more results with consistent use.
It is very likely that I’d buy the full size of this.
This emulsion is supposed to help combination/oily skin with moisture, ph-balancing, smooth out rough skin texture and oil control.
The first thing I notice when applying this is just how nice it feels, I can feel this product working with my skin and it is extremely lightweight which is just a great bonus. It is refreshing and gives my skin a nice glow.
Yet another product that its highly likely I will buy in the future.
This is a gel based moisturiser infused with mint extract.
It is meant to help balance the skin’s oil and moisture balance, skins elasticity and treating enlarged pores.
This is also a treat to apply since it just like most of the other products has a cooling effect that feels incredibly soothing.
This also made my skin more even, my large looked almost gone and putting on my foundation was a dream. I love the effect this has and I felt that I did not need to put a base which is part of my regular routine.
I think this will also be bought the next time I’m ordering at Etude House.
I’m very impressed with these and I do want to order them soon.
The line sounds perfect for summer temperatures and for me these samples worked very well, so I wonder how my skin would have looked like with regular use.
Have you tried any of these products?
What do you think?
